SWAMP - Local Landfill
Stanley together with the City of Morden and the City of Winkler established the Solid Waste Area Management Plan (SWAMP) which serves as a regional landfill site for the area.

SWAMP is governed by a board of directors that are derived from municipal elected officials from Stanley, Morden & Winkler.

4 miles North of PTH 14 on 428, 2 miles East, 3/4 mile North.

Recycling
Stanley does not currently operate a recycling program within the municipality. Residents may drop off recyclable material at either of the following locations:
- Municipal Waste Management - Morden MB Location
- Gateway Resources - Winkler MB
