Solid Waste- SWAMP - Local Landfill
Stanley together with the City of Morden and the City of Winkler established the Solid Waste Area Management Plan (SWAMP) which serves as a regional landfill site for the area.

SWAMP is governed by a board of directors that are derived from municipal elected officials from Stanley, Morden & Winkler.
4 miles North of PTH 14 on 428, 2 miles East, 3/4 mile North.

Garbage Collection - Stanley does not currently provide a garbage collection service. Please contact the following private garbage disposal provider for availability and rates:

Compost
Residential compost drop off (leaf, lawn, garden, kitchen) is available for Stanley residents at no cost. Drop off is at Green Opportunities (formerly Penner Waste) at 20153 Rd15N, Stanley (2 Miles north of Winkler on Hwy 428 to Roland).
Recycling
Villages and residential properties located along the truck travel route are eligible for recycling pick up. The RM has contracted this service to Municipal Waste Management. For more information and areas affected, please click on the links below.
