Stanley Park is now open throughout the winter months for you to enjoy. A brand-new toboggan run, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and hiking are all fun ways to enjoy Stanley Park in winter.
Please note that tobogganing is an activity that you do at your own risk and recommended only during daylight hours. The RM is not responsible for any personal injury or damage to personal items.
History
In July of 1965, Council for the RM of Stanley passed a by-law approving the purchase of land in Pt of 22-2-6 WPM for a Centennial Park at a price of $6,000.00.
Since that time, the park has seen many major improvements and is an attractive spot for many to come and enjoy Stanley's own backyard.
